I am converting vob files to mpeg in order to be able to edit them in a video editing program. The picture quality of the video I am getting is good but the motion is a bit jerky. The video sort of "jumps" from one frame to another. Any idea why this is happening? Thanks

I used vob2mpg to convert to mpeg. I played the mpeg file in windows media player. However now I just noticed that when I imported this mpeg file into ULEAD Videostudio, it played fine but with no sound (it has sound when playing in media player). This sound problem is probably because the sound is ac3 and ulead doesn't support that. Is using virtualdub to make a copy of the sound in wav format the only solution? Thanks for replying to my problem
