  3. I just used a art program and put text well its numbers actually like 1, 2, 3 etc so ppl know which is what. The numbers i placed in the corners sometimes well into middle of pictures nearly so i think u are going to say its because text is out of tv screen well no as made sure of this.

How do does the second image look on your TV? Can you see the entire top of her head?

And more importantly if you place the text directly on the middle of the image and it doesn't show up the only way I can possibly see that happening is if the program you are creating to make the images is not actually altering them.. but using them as source and displaying the text over them when your displaying them within it.

Using the templates in Photoshop CS2 for both NTSC and PAL, the numbers are bisected by the Action Safe frame, so on most TVs at least some, if not should be visible.

This leaves only three possible explanations

    1. Your TV has a very large overscan area. It would have to be abnormally large, or the scan beam is offset to the left enough to push the entire image to the left.

    2. You added the numbers, but copied the wrong version of the images to the CD

    3. You didn't actually add the numbers to the image.

2 and 3 are easy to test. Open the images in a simple viewer and see if the numbers are there. If not, they never were. If they are there on your HDD, are they there on the CD ?

sounds like proshow is cropping instead of resizing ?

You could simply use dvdslideshowgui to manage this .

Install dvdslideshowgui to c:\ or d:\ , dosent matter which ..
Visit folder and remove quenc , and mplayer to prevent full encoding .
    Use program as normal .

When program complain's it cannot proceed further , leave it sitting there .

Visit folder and copy all the re-encoded picture's to another folder .

Now quit dvdslideshowgui .. it will delete those picture's in it's folder .

You can now add these to cd .
