  1. Hello guys.

I am capturing video from the tv using ProgDVB . This program make mpeg2 video files . But I have these 2 problems :

    1) the mpeg2 files that I record and then play , they freeze time by time , like in slow motion .
I think it is a problem of the rendering mpeg2 codes , because they worked when I had other codecs installed , but I do not remember which one. Can u suggest me a mpeg2 video codec that does not freezes?

2)The recorded files are huge . 30 gb fo 25 sec of recording. Is there any way with ProgDVB to record in high resolution but with smoller file size ???

    thank u

Is that correct or a typo? and what is the file specs such as resolution and bitrate of your captures?

If you're creating enourmous files like that then they would require a huge amount of bandwidth to play... hence the reason it will slow down. Drive wouldn't be able to transfer the data fast enough.
