I have a couple of movies that have a watermark or an anoying text like "http:\\www.mymovie.com".

There are 'logo' filters available for VirtualDub, but they tend to replace the logo with a blurred area that can be almost as distracting as the logo. And if the file is a MPEG format, you would have to convert it to a AVI, then back to a MPEG. You can experiment with it if you like. If it's MPEG, VirtualDub Mod can load the video and then you can try the Virtualdub Logoaway filter.

And there is this guide: https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?p=1376335

Or another option might be to crop out the part with the text and have it recentered. Though it will wipe out that part of the video across the entire lenght. But if its not very large that might be better than trying the logo filters.

I have done them and redwudz is right, they leave a blurry blotch after you remove them. And sometimes if its a moving, rotating picture the blur is even worse.
