    i just bought an apex 1500 today, but have to pick it up from another circuit city location b/c its in stock over there. well, i read great reviews about this player. thats why i decided to buy one. my question is if it can play all regional codes for dvd. pls let me know, thanks.

    -bought apex 1500 @$86.39 with tax included.

    it all depends, there are many versions of the apex 1500, do you know the exact model number? i know that some can be updated by just burning a file to a cd but others cannot have their firmware changed at all. when you find the model number, take a visit to http://www.dvd-wizards.com/darrenk as the site seems to have alot of information on the apex drives and the modification of them.
