  1. Often times when I miss a TV show or can't get my hands a certain documentaries, I will download the files via torrent or p2p and author them with NeroVision. Somethings this isn't a problem, other times it is. I'm having a problem with a certain documentary I nabbed off a torrent network. First, here is what I'm dealing with in terms of codecs, etc.:

The problem with Nerovision is that it will complete approximately 25% of the encoding process, however, after hitting that mark the program will stop encoding dead in it's tracks and I can't close the app without ending the process. I thought I could get around this by encoding the video in TMPgenc as a DVD video and then reloading the newly created MPG2 into NeroVision. Problem with this is that the new MPG2 audio and video are out of sync.

    So, to summarize:

    1. NeroVision stalls at 25%
    2. TMPgenc produces an out of sync MPG2 file

What other choices do I have?

One other method for dealing with MP3 that has been floated here before is to hard set the source range to the first and last frames. YMMV though.
