I have a .TS file (from a HDTV rip) and the file info is

    Video Tracks:
    17 MPEG-2, 1280 × 720, 16:9, 59.94 fps, 15.00 Mbps, progressive

    Audio Tracks:
    20 AC3 3/2, 48 kHz, 448 kbps

I wanna know how can I convert it to DVD in ffmpegX, cause I've tried many different setting's and when I click the button to start to convert, the window that opens starts to work and then it says "failed" and I don't know what to do!!!

I really need to convert this file to DVD cause I want to watch it on my TV

    THANKS!

If you do NOT have the QuickTime MPEG-2 Playback component installed, then select Decode with mplayer (instead of Decode with Quicktime) in the Options tab.
If that doesn't help, the Process Log () may need further inspection.

    thanks Case

I have the nQuicktime component cause all my conversions are good except this one, but here's what I did:

I opened the TS file in MPEG Streamclip and Exported it to DV, then, the DV file converted it to DVD in ffmpegx. That's the only way I could, cause MPEG2 Works could, but I don't like the way it converts.

    Thanks
