Hi, I've been a Nero user since 6 and have now purchased 7. I really like the ease of Nero Recode, but Nero Vision doesn't seem to have all the bugs worked out yet.

I want to export my movie in Nero Vision using Nero's mp4 codec, Nero Digital. If I select Nero Digital as my export settings, there are a list of default setups to which I can slide the quality level to the left or right. Setups include, DVD, SVCD, Custom, Nero digital.

    Here's my question:
How can I tell the details for the settings? All I can adjust is the slider and custom doesn't list the Nero digital codecs. Does anyone know where the nero settings are listed at? It's not in any of their help files.

I have a avi file that's 640x480 at 30 fps. All my export settings in Nero digital put it down to 480x320.

Okay, for SVCD & DVD & VCD you cant change bitrate or size. For Nero Digital you can only change the Standard AVC to whatever. You can't configure the bitrate in that....

Your best bet is to export as a DVD or DV (whichever has better quality) and then stick it in nero recode

  4. Use Nero Recode and untick "Fit To Target" then Nero will allow you to adjust the output size, also if you want to change the video parameters select "Video" but I recommend leaving all to Automatic.
