I am trying to make a menu for a Re-Authored DVD, however TMPGenc just wont do what I want it to, and I'm close to giving up.

I create the Scene Selection page EXACTLY how I want it, with 8 screens (animated) representing the 8 chapters in my movie, with text below saying chapter 1 - 2 etc etc, a return to main menu button, and play button, this is exactly how I want it, but it's the main page that's causing me headache.

All I want on the main page is a "Play All" Button which I have, and a "Scene Selection" button, but there isn't one??? the only way I can jump to my scene selection page is VIA some dumb TV screen that covers the menu I made in Photoshop, I can easily hide this away, but then can't get to my chapters?? is there anyway to delete the TV box (track select) and replace it with a button? or even clickable text? I thought this would be simple but it seems not.

Click on the drop down box to the left of the 'Edit Menu Theme' button and select 'New Theme'. A 'Create New Theme' box will open. Click on the drop down box for 'Main Menu' and select one of the choices with text only (the ones without any little green boxes in them).

This may reset the fonts and colors.

I usually design my own template on a show by show basis. I capture the show opening as a clip, snapshot the graphic of the show title. Paste the still frame graphic on each end of the opening clip and use the result as an animated menu.
Given that you can select the number of titles for the main menu and the number of chapters for the title menu, the product is flexible enough for the price.
I looked at the pro version which allows importing premade templates from the publisher web site but it didn't offer enough additional flexibility for me to justify the upgrade cost.
