    Hi,
    I'm using YASA mp4 converter.
I'm converting AVI files to mp4 for iPod.
Yasa has a default setting for ipod mp4.
However, my audio keeps playing faster than my video.
I've tried adjusting the video rate from matching the video rate of the source video exactly(25fps) to 29 to 23 etc...

I've tried adjusting the bit rate of the audio which is by default: 128 all the way down to 32.

    Still no improvement.

    Any suggestions???

If I have to see one more test video lookin like a bad kungfu movie I'm gonna LOSE IT!!
    LOL

Do the original AVI videos have VBR/variable bit-rate audio?

Use a utility like GSpot or MediaInfo to analyze the original AVIs. In the case of GSpot, there should be a little 'VBR' indicator in the audio codec information section that will light up if the video uses variable-bitrate audio.

Is it just that particular video, or do all videos you attempt to convert exhibit sync problems? Usually, you should make sure the frame rate of the output video is the same as the input video, but you've probably already tried that.

I don't know anything about YASA MP4 Converter, so I couldn't say if it's a problem with the converter or not. For converting videos for the iPod, I use Videora iPod Converter. Before that, I used SUPER, but Videora works better for me.
