  1. Hey, I've searched the forums for a couple days and I've found a great deal to do with this but just not what I was specifically looking for. I'm trying to burn a xvid movie onto a dvd-r just as a data disc and play it in my phillips dvd divx/xvid (I think) player. I burned a Divx movie and it turned out good. However most each xvid movie is either choppy or the player just doesn't recognize it.

I really don't want to re-encode the files. Is there anyway I could use MPEG4Modifier to alter all of them to be perfect? just for an example I have this xvid movie which I already burned and it came out choppy. Is there anyway I could alter this file with MPEG4Modifier? Here is the screenshot from gSpot:

Any help is greatly appreicated, thanks

  2. What model player is that?

Also, pushing the system button twice corrects some films.....

Try left column, dvd players, search for your player & youll find tons of tricks.

  3. 672 frame width may be too wide. Also try a simple remux of the audio and video with VirtualDubMod.
