  1. I'm wondering if there is a way to get the vcd to be viewd the normal way and not have the sides and tops cut off? ><

    Is there a certai screen size that I need to set?
    I'm using Tmpenc to do this and the Nero 5.5 burning software to write the vcd. Please help me ;_;

    I think your TMPEGNC settings are wrong. Look in the advanced settings tab.

  3. I know my settings are wrong, that is why I'm asking for help ><
    I want to know what settings I need to set up to fit on my screen.
    When I left my settings on the default settings of Tmpgenc I get a video format with the sides and some of the bottom cut off ><

    If I put the center custom size, would that fix the prob?

    I'm trying not to be a pain, but I'm quite new to this ;_;

    I was at work when I wrote that one. Now that I'm at home:

    In TMPEGnc
    Configure -> Advanced
    Source Aspct Ratio: 4:3 535 line (NTSC)
    Image Positioning Method: Fit to frame

    Give this a try and let me know. If you do not live in a NTSC country (where do you live?) then try 4:3 625 line (PAL) instead. I live in the US.
