Strange audio problem

HI

i have a dvd movie.when i play it on one tv the sounds is ok.
when i play it on another tv.using same dvd player it sounds like its underwater.on power dvd it says its dobly digital 2.0.on power dvd it
sounds like its underwater again.unless i pick another speaker
option other than stereo.

1st- tv has some sort of suround sound on it.
2nd- tv is only mono.
pc worked other than picking stereo.

How are you inputting the sound into the mono TV?
