    hey

thanks for the guide, im doing it right now, does it normally take so long for you? my avi file is around 700megs, the first pass took 3 hours and now it's saying the 2nd pass will take 6 hours.

when i burn avis without subitles it never takes that long, am i doing someihng wrong here?

    cheers

    greetings baldrick

i used HCenc because when i used the default one, the program told me to point it the the encoders directory, which i didnt have so i just chose the HC one.

im gonna try this new prog u showed me, hopefully it takes less then 9 hours.

    cheers

  8. Easier to just get a dvd player that plays divx. Then you can write a data disk with your divx files on it & play it, no converting needed. MOst of us have a phillips 642.

seeing your pc system :1,3 ghz??
    it's normally

the only way to reduce the encoding time is in the settings of the filmmachine
to chose for 1 passe and not for a lot of passes
    and cce is very faster
