hello
i downloaded an avi that has subtitles in another file called an srt.
can someone plz give me a simple way to just burn the avi to the disc and watch it on a standard home dvd player with subtitles?
i dont mind if the subtitles is stuck there, i simply need a simple solution to watch this movie on the home dvd. ive looked around the net and its seems so complicated.

 thanks for the guide, im doing it right now, does it normally take so long for you? my avi file is around 700megs, the first pass took 3 hours and now it's saying the 2nd pass will take 6 hours.
 
 when i burn avis without subitles it never takes that long, am i doing someihng wrong here?

	Easier to just get a dvd player that plays divx. Then you can write a data disk with your divx files on it & play it, no converting needed. MOst of us have a phillips 642.
