Hi, new here, hopefully this question haven't ask before.
Using Nero Express 8 I burned my AVI files with their correlated SRT (with same name), but some subtitle didn't show up when I played using my DVD player (a cheap LG) and some of them did show up. All of SRT files have the same encoding (ANSI) and the same format (PC).
What is the probable cause of this situation?
Thanks.

Have you tried pressing the Subtitle button on your player's remote? Maybe the subtitles that "aren't appearing" can be toggled.
Are the names of your .avi/.srt files rather long, or have non-standard characters (like more than one period, perhaps) in the filenames? If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them? -
First, thanks for the reply.
@Ai Habara: Yes I did that. My DVD player will automatically choose the subtitle file (srt or sub), and I already click 'subtitle' button to choose. Concerning file name: no, they don't have any weird characters or have more than one period.
@Baldrick: I prefer in AVI format since it has smaller size. I guess that you won't have a 12 episodes of Babylon 5 into one single DVD disc, with the same quality, won't it?
