could someone please help me with this problem.i'm trying to change 4 avi files each being 350mb to fit onto 1 dvd.each file goes for about 42mins.i've used winavi, nero, ulead movie factory, dvd santa,etc...... but the 3rd and last episode come out with video problems.the pic starts stopping and breaking up and moving slow from episode 3 and really badly in episode 4.i've heard i may be trying to compress too much onto a disc but how come you can put the same amount or more onto a disc when you are copying straight from the original disc? am i making any sense sorry if i'm not,but i'm just so frustrated with this problem.
any help would greatly be appreciated
    thanks

Does it play OK before you burn it to disk. If yes, then try some different/better disks.

If it plays ok on the pc but not after you burn the VIDEO_TS to DVD then it's your media or the way you are burning it. Since it is the last one giving you trouble, bad media comes to mind. Forget so called name brands. It's the media code that tells the story. And BTW, DVD Santa sucks big time. Try VSO DivxToDVD as a simple reliable one click wonder.

I use DivXtoDVd VSO and NeroVision to do 350 mb episodes in sequence and I get decent results ... the new version of ConvertXToDVD works a little different from the verison VSO had a few weeks ago ... I'm not sure if I like the way it works. I already made one project and it played on the computer ... but didn't play at all on my living room DVD player or my neighbor's DVD player.

Try it on a friends DVD player ( Stand alone ) to see if it plays. It may be your DVD player does not like your media.
