Hi. I have a 4:3 PAL MPEG2 file that I converted to XviD using Vegas\TMPGEnc Express (with Koepi codec).
My result was an AVI file with a little bit stretched image. I tried to set the codec to 4:3 or square or full screen but the result was the same. Any suggestions?

Setting the PAR is just changing a flag. In order for it to have an effect, your player needs to read the flag and resize. Other option is to resize before encoding. Resizing should work fine in directshow players, mplayer, VLC, etc. though. Works fine here, including on my standalone player.
I would suggest something other than TMPGEnc Express for encoding avi's to.
