I am a new mac user. I want to make a DVD of music videos from the many video files that i have. I tried iDVD (which i am still not sure how to use) and cannot figure out how to create one button on the menu that will play all the videos. And in doing so, will I have to link all the videos into one file? or can it be done by chaptering it?
I have ffmpeg and use it to create a .DVD files and then Disk utility to burn it. Is there a way to burn more than one file on the same disc using Disk utility? or even authoring with it?
    Thanks for the help!!!

In a previous thread, Frobozz gave you good advice that MPEG Streamclip will help you cut a long MPEG file into shorter segments.

iDVD is not geared toward reburning existing MPEGs onto a new DVD. For that, you can purchase Toast 7 or Capty DVD 2.0.

If you want to try a freeware solution, download Sizzle 0.1 here:

Playing around with Sizzle should get you into the ballpark. Ask us if you can't figure out how to use it. See also this posting:

Sizzle has two modes of operation. The above posting discusses taking a single title and adding user-defined chapters to it. But the other way to use Sizzle 0.1 is to give it multiple titles in the same format, and it will treat them like chapters. On the final DVD, the titles will play end to end as chapters of a single title, and you can use the remote to move through the chapters.

The output of Sizzle 0.1 is an .img file that you can burn with Disk Utility.
