Quicktime files in explorer? Pain in the...

Hello! When i click quicktime or other mpeg files while surfing the net, they open in a quicktime window inside explorer, this sucks and i want the computer instead to ask me if i want to open or save it so i can just pres open and it opens in zplayer! How is this done?
I know i can right click and pres save target as , but its a pain in the...

Isn't it something in the folder/file options about confirm open after download?

It is common for Quicktime to takeover most media playback within your browser. To change the Quicktime browser plug-in settings open the main Quicktime program and select Quicktime Preferences under Preferences. Choose the Browser tab and click on the MIME settings button. All the media Quicktime will handle in your browser are set here. Deselect types here and the system associated program can now be used to open the media.
