Opening an audio mp3 file and encoding it to mp2 I find some problems, first I deselect the video deconding option, then I choose the mp2 format and I select encoding... ffmpegx spent 1 sec to encode, but only seems to encode, and I get a mp2 file that doesn't work...

is it possible to encode only an mp3 file?

Near the bottom of the preset list is an entry "Audio file to mp2". Try that.

it doesn't work and I don't understand why:

    I post the log:

    Code:
Encoding started on Sun Feb 5 16:08:05 CET 2006
Mac OSX static build for ffmpegX
    Input #0, mp3, from '/Users/matteomatteo/Desktop/dvd oc/codifica/The.Oc.-.2x08.-.La.forza.dell'amore.-.[00257107].mp3':
      Duration: 00:38:17.1, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 159 kb/s
      Stream #0.0: Audio: mp3, 48000 Hz, stereo, 160 kb/s
Could not find input stream #0.1
I don't know why I select imput stream 0 and it finds imput stream 0.1

I think that might be a filename problem. Try removing the apostrophe in dell'amore.

No way, it's the same also like this:

    Code:
Encoding started on Sun Feb 5 17:44:20 CET 2006
Mac OSX static build for ffmpegX
    Input #0, mp3, from '/Users/matteomatteo/Desktop/dvd oc/codifica/7.mp3':
      Duration: 00:40:10.2, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 159 kb/s
      Stream #0.0: Audio: mp3, 48000 Hz, stereo, 160 kb/s
Could not find input stream #0.1
    it's a bug maybe?

I don't know. The routine works on my side...

  7. You are using "Movie audio to mp2". Use "Audio file to mp2" instead.

now it's working thanks you a lot, but maybe I found a bug...

first of all in the menu there is no "audio file to mp2" because there are to "audio file to mp3" (but if u select the first appears mp2 so I thinks it's only a type error) take a look:

but also choosing the first and getting the mp2 encoding doesn't work, I had to select the second "audio file to mp3" and than changing in the audio tab mp3 with mp2 it work...

I hope it can be usefull for someoe else...

  9. OK sorry it is a bug in the translation.
