    Hi all,

I have a bunch of .ts files that I would like to convert to MP4s. I figured I'd use mkv2vob, but that gives an error "Unsupported audio codec: MP3". I have also tried both AVI-Mux GUI and VirtualDub, neither of which allow me to open the .ts files.

Is there a way to do this in mkv2vob, or can anyone suggest a program that will allow me to do this?

    Thanks

What is the video and audio codec in your ts? Identify using mediainfo.

Do you want to play it on a ps3/xbox 360/console?

  5. You have MPEG2 video and MP2 audio

You can convert to h264 video and AAC audio in .mp4.

    Options include avidemux, ripbot264, xvid4psp

xvid4psp and ripbot264 are probably the easiest to use, both have PS3 preset profiles

You may have to install haali media splitter, and ffdshow if you don't already have those

Try mux it to a mpeg-ps stream using tsmuxer and I think it will work without any conversion. See http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?s=a0b148c6488adc9a0bcbce7d4ee5bf77&p=149...9#post14989129
