    I copied dvd files over onto my hard drive but one of the .vob files is freezing on certain frames. I was just wondering if it's possible to fix this and what program will be able too?

    You could extract the VOB to MPEG-2 with a program like VOB2MPG and go from there. MPEG is not easy to repair. It depends on what is wrong with it.

    after repairing it, can I convert it back to vob? it's a backup of one of my originals.

    Why not just rip the original DVD again to your hard drive.
