ok I have an AVI file and I ripped the audio out of it using VirtualDub and then used it as source audio when converting to DVD streams (m2v, mp2)

now for some reason the entire mp2 is blank.

How can I convert the wav to MP2 so I can use with the TMPGE's DVD author program. I've tried using BeSweet/BeLight, but for some it doesn't properly do the conversion. It simpley says "Time remaining 0:00:01" on how long it has to go and gives 00.00% as what is completed.

Is this a problem with BeSweet or my computer?

Also I've tried headac3he but it won't convert the WAV file for some reason.

Sounds to me more like a problem with the extraction to WAV.
    If in doubt, Google it.

    weird.

VDub is usually very good about these things. Is there a better way to extract the wav?

VDub is usually pretty good. Any chance it may have been user error ?

Here's a couple of tutes - one for vdub/vdub-mpeg2, and the other for vdubmod:

You can convert a wav to mp2 with TMPGEnc and use Streem type audio only. Check the settings for 48000hz.
