    You could take the VOB that you want to modify out of the DVD, convert to MPEG-2, put it into a video editing program, take out the audio, remove 5 seconds of audio and insert your audio. Then mux the modified audio back into the video and reauthor the whole thing to DVD. A lot of work for 5 seconds of audio. And if the audio is AC3 5.1, it gets harder.
