    Hi there,

I've recently combined 2 seperate DVDs together to create an extended cut which runs over 3 hours and 50 minutes (about 7.5GB) & the audio has been dropped down to 320Kbps and is a seperate stream/file. I have compiled the DVD in DVD-Lab Pro (also tried it after fixing the GOP) near the end, the video starts to skip (as if there isn't enough memory) but the audio continues to play.

    - Both DVD source files check out ok and there is no skipping.
    - I re-edited it in Womble MPEG Video Wizard, outputted the video to MPEG-2 and tested it in Windows Media Player (Classic) and there is no skipping at the end.
    - I have tried using ReJig to compile it all and it still skipped in PowerDVD as well, my concern is that it may be PowerDVD--but I am afraid to install another DVD program as it may mess up PowerDVD as it has in the past.
    - The playback at the end appears fine when it is loaded into DVDShrink, which leads me to believe that it could be a RAM issue or it's just too much info for Power DVD to playback smoothly...

I'm just not willing to record it to a DualLayer DVD yet until I can get someone else's opinion on what it might be.

awesome! i tried it with Media Player Classic & it works just fine, so thanks Baldrick!!! i've been using this site for pretty much everything when i needed help and it's incredibly useful.

now i just need to get these damn subtitles to sync up. it's more of a pain than anything else... but it should be done in about 2 days. worst part of it is that my DVD player that can play DVD+/-R dual layers is busted so i may not be able to test it until i get a replacement capacitor.
