  1. My friend made a documentary with 3 chapters and now he wants me to make him 30 copies. He is paying for blank DVDs plus a little, but I wanted to be able to do this in the easiest way possible for me. I thought I might use MagicISO and make an ISO file out of it, then burn the copies. I probably won't do it all at once, but I also wanted to maintain the video quality. Any suggestions?

    DVD Decryptor. ISO-->Read, then ISO--<Write 30 times.

  3. I have DVD Fab Platinum. It also has an option to make an ISO file. Can I assume this would work as well?

    This is the easiest and best answer. DVD Decrypter is free! Be sure to use quality media marked "Made in Japan." You can't go wrong with Taiyo Yuden (supermediastore.com or rima.com) discs. Sony, Fuji, Verbatim, and Maxell will probably be okay too. However, if the package(s) say "Made in Taiwan," you're getting B grade (or less) discs.

    You should be able to buy 50 8x Taiyo Yuden DVD-R for $25 US or so (including shipping). They also make 4x discs and +R discs if you need those instead.

    One more thing. Many people around here do not attach labels to their discs. The labels can cause the discs to spin incorrectly. They can also come loose and screw up drives.
