Hi,I found this Free Syntax Olevia LT32HV 32" LCD TV on the websites.
How about the Syntax TV? Compare to Toshiba or ViewSonic?
i'm totally new to LCD TV so any suggestion in basic terms would be appreciated.

Might make an OK monitor, but I wouldn't buy one as a TV. Low contrast ratio, no HDMI (although it does have DVI in). It is their old model, hence it being given away.Read my blog here.

Get the LT32HVX, its there newest model. The older 27" isn't true 16:9 either.
Newer models have HDMI-DVI that supports HDCP or whatever that is. Its important to HT tech nuts.
You'll get a great picture period. The better the content the better the picture. Sure a CTR will still do better overall on SD content, but its not that much of a downgrade at all. Make sure your cable signal is strong and use a good S-video cable and you have a pretty darn good picture.Project Digital: Eliminate All Physical Media is finally underway! -
