Have you tried www.espn.com ???? Or do a net search for "flutie drop kick" and you'll probably get it.

  6. Shit they are rare , for what reason. Regular occurance in Rugby and worth 3 points.

In fact England winning the Rugby World Cup owes a hell of a lot to the skill of Jonny Wilkinsons drop kicking.

Whats the score for a Drop kick in American Football.

  7. it's worth 1 point, Its more common in the CFL.

I think it's rare because of the shape of the Ball. Not as easy to drop on point..(I guess).

  10. That web site had some great info on the sport, some things I would never imagine were rules in the game. But the videos get a little boring after a while plus the quality wasn't very good.

In this case it was a 1 point conversion which is a point kicked after a touchdown. Rugby has something similar after scoring a try.

A drop kick field goal during the normal play would be for 3 points.

3 points, same as rugby then, and worth going for, if a try (or touchdown) does not appear to be on.

Thats what I find strange, that it is the first one in over 60 years. A good drop kicker can have a huge influence on a game of rugby.

How many points are there for a touchdown? ( As Craig said, in Rugby Union there are 5 points for a try, 2 for a conversion and 3 for a drop goal/penalty).

I guess if a "converted touchdown" (or whatever its called) is worth considerably more than a few drop goals there wouldn't be much benefit.

6 points for a touchdown, 1 for a kicked convert, 2 for a convert that is carried into the end zone either by running or passing. So a convert is normally kicked for 1 point (easier) unless the end of the game is near and they really need to get 2.

The quarterback is allowed to punt too, Randall Cunningham did it twice. the onlt time I can recall a quarterback punting. He was a punter in college. Both times they were deep in the endzone on 3rd and forever....

The first one went 91 yards and is the 4 th longest in NFL history as no one was expecting it. I'm a eagles fan I saw both live, I actually expected the second one.
