I have a movie that is in two parts-it consists of two cue and two bin files. I know i can burn to cdr but my standalone makes a lot of noise playing back cdr so i need to burn to dvd. Can anybody tell me how to go about this or point out a guide maybe?

    Peace

Basically, you have to extract the video from each bin (mount it with daemon tools and just access it as if it was a real CD) - how to proceed depends on what's on the "CD", but it'll probably be VCD or SVCD - follow some guide on (S)VCD to DVD.

Yep, VCDGear can extract bin/cue files to mpeg.

Daemon Tools will work too, but if its a VCD format (or SVCD) it will be in DAT format.

thecrock, do you plan to have the disc playable in a standalone player. If so, consider authoring the video to DVD. Check the authoring to section and guides on the left.

Extract whatever is in the BIN files:

Then take action as appropriate from there. It could be anything inside the BINs (I'm guessing CVD or SVCD).
    If in doubt, Google it.
