Suggestion for the site.

I was wondering since a lot of people are getting hdtv's now, if we could have a section where users review different hdtv models? I mean blu-ray and hd-dvd are coming around the bend pretty soon. It would be nice to see other user's opinions and reviews of hdtv's, before we go out and buy one.

There's already a bunch of HDTV review sites. Here's a page for flat panel HDTVs. http://reviews.designtechnica.com/reviews_subcat-16.html

HDTV viewing is a big field. There are CRTs, LCDs, Plasma, DLP, and several types of projection systems.

This site is for video. There are some hardware listings for DVD players, burners and recorders. It's not really about TVs.

EDIT: That link is to flat panel displays, not necessarily HDTVs.

Good idea nick101181, but I agree with redwudz. You have no idea the amount of effort that the Administration puts into maintaining the lists. Baldrick, SatStorm and LordSmurf do an excellent job. At the moment anything like you suggest sounds like a lot of extra work.

Blu-ray and HDVD will be included in the lists I suspect

I will add hd-dvd and bluray players and recorders list. No TVs, I just don't have time for it....maybe if someone is interested to add new hdtvs I might make one.
