i use dvd shrink and everything works perfectly, the file is decrpyted and compressed and saved to my hard drive, dvd shrink once it starts burning never gets to one percent it just fails everytime, so last nite i used a dvd+rw and all of sudden it started working, but when i go back to the dvd+r's it still fails, my burner has been working perfectly for a year but now this is happening can anybody please help thank you!!

DVDShrink doesn't do any burning. It uses Nero, or DVD Decrypter if you have it set up for that. If you are using Nero, try DVD Decrypter instead. It generally has more compatible burns.

I would next try a different brand of DVD media. If RW works, then the media is suspect, even if it worked before. The other possibility would be a problem with the burner, but if you have other successful DVD burns with R+, it would rule that out.
