I have got several avi movies and have just purchased a vcd compatible dvd player, I have the panasonic mpeg encoder 2.51 how do I go about getting the best possible VCD copy when the avi file{ size 352 x 288, 20.000 Frames/Sec audio 24000hz stereo} is 20000 frames p/sand then how do i go about copying it to cd i have both nero and cdrwin{i pefer cdrwin)
any help would be great

Don't much about the Panasonic Encoder, I use Tmpgenc, which can be downloaded for free.
In Tmpgenc, choose the VCD or SVCD templates, you will be able to generate compliant Mpegs. I prefer using Nero to burn them. -
It all depends on whether you want to convert to PAL (Europe), or NTSC (USA)...
Where are you in the world? -
I have tryed tmpge but 4 the file in question it says that it is can not open or unsuported but it works in panasonic so thats why i use it
