    If i change wmv to mpg aor avi, does dmr also get copied or not? If it is removed how can i put it back, so only password holders can see it?

    Or did you mean DRM - Digital Rights Management

    No. You cannot convert any WMV file that has DRM. No software will recognised it. It will have to be left as a WMV file.

    The only way is to remove DRM is if you are the license holder or have the key for removing DRM, so you can convert to another format.

    DRM has only been designed for WMV files.

    Oh, and a VERY late addition to this thread... DRM only exists for WMV9/10, which means WIN98 users are out of luck. They can't view those content no matter what. One more reason to upgrade!
