    Does anybody compare with Sunplus VS ESS for DVD players now

    Well Sunplus I would say supports more, crappy games, qpel (I think), etc. but then the ESS is probably more reliable. Most Sunplus players I hear can't even manage to play a pressed DVD properly.

    Personally I would suggest avoiding both. Get an MTK based player.
