Hey
I wasn't sure where to put this, so I decided to put it here.
I was wondering how I can get that affect that karaokes have where the highlighted text is highlighting to the right of the screen. Is this possible with Adobe Premiere Pro? Thanks for any help, I am new to this.

Ok, here is my example. From a Thai karaoke, but that shouldnt matter. As long as this .gif animation demonstrates what I want to do in Adobe Premiere Pro. Oh by the way, can you also tell me how to do this in Macromedia Flash MX 2004?
I already started my karaoke in Adobe Premiere Pro and I'm REALLY close to finishing. Just I need to add the karaoke effect thing onto it and I would be done.

Unless the original text is using a separate layer, it's going to be a royal pain in the arse...
You'd need to recreate the text within Photoshop, (via exporting the frame from Premiere) and reimporing the Photoshop layer into Premiere...
From here, you can do a clip function on the newly aquired text, and chromakeying out the clipped area...
If there's anybody with a better suggestion, i'd gladly be all ears...
