For some reason, when I tried backing up Wedding Crashers, the output file size was 3.9 gb and not the standard 4.5 gb. Anyone have any idea why the output file doesn't fit an entire dvd?![]()
I'm using CCE Basic, Full Backup and Steal Space from Extras (25%).

Theres no option in DVD-RB to do that. you would have to do it manually by changing the target sector size in the Rebuilder.ini file.
Add a command like:
Targersector=22640000
anywhere between [options] and [paths]

I recently did a boxset - four disks, all around the same size. 2 went without a problem, the other two DVD RB tried to squeeze down to 3.2GB. Could not determine a reason for this, so I put it down to a bug and used Shrink instead. The difference in results is, of course, blindingly obvious, but I could not get DVD RB to do the right thing, despite a number of attempts.
