Choppy video after outputting video in AdobePremierePro 1.5
I created a slideshow, with music in the background,
and when I export the file as an avi movie, the video
is choppy and the audio skips a lot. How do I fix this
issue? Someone, please help..

Hi CVMerlot,
When you export to AVI, what audio and video format / settings did you use? There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
Carpe diem.

Ooh geez, I'm at work right now. I can't remember the settings I
selected. I think it was movie. Then Microsoft DV AVI. Then 16:9 (1.something).
My slide show needs to be viewed widescreen. And when I select
other settings, the video and audio aren't choppy. Very smooth in
fact. But it doesn't have the 720x480 resolution. It's squeezed to
a 640x480 resolution.
When I get home, I'll have to update my post with more details.
Sorry. And I appreciate your help.-----------------------------------------------------

Well, I'm wondering, what settings should I select?
My project is basically a family movie, with a couple of
slideshows. I plan on using Encore 1.5, to link them
together, and burn it on a dvd.
I've run chkdsk and defrag two nights ago, on both
of my drives. Uhmmmm.... My project files and music
files aren't on the same drive. I'll group all the files
onto the 1st drive, and see how that works. If the
audio/video are still choppy or skipping, I'll group the
files onto the 2nd drive, and try exporting the movie,
and see how that works.-----------------------------------------------------

I've thought of another solution. *lol*
I'll just export the still-image slideshow without audio track.
Then create a new timeline for the movie, and audio together.
And see how that works.
Ooh, I'm feeling so good. So bad.. *mwahahahahaa*
Anymore suggestions from anyone, would be appreciated.
Thanx in advance.-----------------------------------------------------

I exported my movie onto my 2nd drive, and the movie was fine. It wasn't choppy. Which is odd, because my primary drive has about
45 GB free, and the backup has about 5 GB. Both run at 7200. So,
I dunno what's up with that. Peace out.-----------------------------------------------------
