Since the YudenT02 and the TYG02 have been around for awhile now I'm curious about the experiences of others when it comes to quality of burns each has produced, if they have been about the same or if one has edged out the other? I don't know if one would be more susceptible to errors than the other and might not last as long over the long run. I have a Pioneer 107 and have used both in the past but most recently the T02 but never really coming to a conclusion which was better for my burner or better in general. I know in the past some have had more trouble with printable media but I don't know if this is still an issue or not.

I've made a few burns with some 8x +r Taiyo Yuden printable media, and it appears to be as good as any TY media I've burned so far. I believe that the last one I burned was on my Pioneer A07xl. I didn't scan that one, because I haven't had any problems with any of them so far on the other drives I burn with. It was a copy of one of my movies, and it played fine on my very picky panasonic standalone unit, plus my onkyo unit.

  3. I bought the TY white printable dvd-r 8x from mediasuperstore.com because i heard great things about them from everyone here. The reason i bought them was because i was haviong problems with memorex disc. Well i am having problems with the ty too. I went to stapels and picked up a few maxell dvd+r to try out. They work great so i dont know if i am having issues becuase of the +/- format or the brand
So take it for what its worth.

  4. picked up some of the 8x injet printable TY's a week ago. Burned about 10 so far -- quality seems quite good. I'll probably be switching over to
    TY now from Ritek.

I bought 100 TY 8X -R Hub Printables from Rima a month or so ago - they have been working fine for me - just as good as the Fuji regular TYs I bought at Best Buy before I got my Pixma ip4000 modified to print directly on disks.

  6. I've been using the TY+R hub printables for quite a while now. Probably around 400 disks so far. Personally, I have not had any problems with the disks or their playing on any machine I've tried them on.
