I followed this guide, http://members.dodo.net.au/~jimmalenko/test.htm#ifoedit, and when I played the dvd, the sub title is super bolded in color green and is unreadable. Any idea why this is the problem and how do I resolve this problem.

The easiest thing to try I think would be to open the original & new vts ifo files in IfoEdit. For the original, click on VTS_PGCITI, then on VTS_PGC_1, select copy colors from this PGC (under Subtitle Color menu), go to PGC_1 etc the same way on your new ifo, and this time select Paste colors into this PGC. Otherwise there are a few guides covering how to edit/set sub colors.

Another way to approach this I think might be to use an authoring prog. to have one video play immediately after the other, then use VobBlanker as (or if) needed to replace created vobs with originals containing subs - not all authoring prog. will accept non-text subs. Read the guides at videohelp.com however - you'll have to turn the subs on in the new ifo's, and set color as above.

Many thanks for the help. I manage to use the original files and sub title is now working; however, when playing on my set top dvd player, the sub title does not appear but it does show up when playing in power dvd. Any idea why this occur?
