    Hi

I converted a VOB file to to a movie clip using VOB2MPG. When I tried to edit the MPEG file using Windows Movie Maker, I recieved the following error message.

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\wedding\New Folder\VTS_01.mpg could not be imported. An interface has too many methods to fire events from

Should I be using this program to rip the file from my DVD or should I be using something else. I tried rejig but it keeps on coming up as a file to be used by my DVD player.

    Thanks

Windows Movie Maker and MPEG-2 seem to be very hit or miss - it's never worked for me. I convert to DV-AVI then import that into WMM.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Is there a program that can be used to convert the file to DV-AVI? Do you have any suggestion?

    Thanks

AutoGK, Dr. DivX, or Virtualdub will do the job If it were me, I would go with AutoGK; Its quick to set up, easy to use, and produces a great xvid
