  1. I made a school vid project last year or so and put it on a DVD. It worked fine and played on my standalone player and my DVD-Rom. I recently decided to watch it again but for some reason, the disc doesn't work anymore. In my standalone, it either doesn't load or the menu looks like it's moving at 1frame per second. When I try it in my LG DVD-ROM now, PowerDVD freezes, the ATI DVD player also freezes, DVD Decrypter detects errors. The disc has no scratches and I cleaned it twice already but still no effect.
Any way I can fix this?

    Thanks for your time.

  3. the brand is called "Ridata." It was pretty cheap when I bought them. I had no idea a cheap DVD disc could last only for a year.

btw: amen on Smallville. Great show

  4. Oh Oh, you get what you paid for.
DVD media is a key factor in retaining video (plus a good burner too).
