    STOIK Video Converter (2.1) lists up only 56kb/s for MPEG Layer 3 and can't work with LAME.

    I remember somebody already post a guide somewhere for similar thing like this but after searching around, i could not reach it.

    Pls help me with this as STOIK Video Converter is the only one software that I can use to convert wmv to avi (divx) without audio synch problem, so far.

    The ACM mp3 encoder that comes with windows is limited to 56kb/s only. So you are saying that it won't work with lame ACM and other apps will?

    Actually I DID modify some registry setting in the other pc and it list up everything, even 320kbit/s for MPEG layer-3. But I didn't remember what to change.

    The problem is STOIK seems doesn't work with LAME ACM (doesn't list anything under LAME AMC). . Other appz work well with LAME, surely.

    If an effective alternative for wmv2avi conversion is available, I will ignore this error.
