  2. It's only when playing a VCD... not when a DVD is played... a DVD is fine... so i don't think it is the method of connecting... i think it happens when it reads the VCD... is it the CD-R I'm using? I'm using Imation... whats the best for playback in a DVD player?

  3. If it's a light feedback hum, capture at lower volume. Disconnect stereo cables one at a time, if isolate channel determine if capturing/encoding stereo, try upping bitrate. I think Azid or something like that will eliminate this if it's a sampling artifact, but I haven't tried this yet.

  4. I'm having the same problem, but with plain old DVD's, out of the box. I jist got the unit yesterday, adn was able to play a couple without issue. Now I'm getting that humming feedback type noise, but it's not low; it overpowers the audio. I've tried everything, and it seems that only the Left channel does it. I've hooked it directly to the TV, and through a VCR. I'm low tech, so it's all RCA cables, analog. I know it's not about VCD's, but any help would be appreciated.

  5. I have mine going through my VCR first then into the TV via RCA jacks. It works fine, I haven't had any problems what so ever.
