From my personal experience Nero Digital is FAR superior. Nero Digital gives you better quality, chapters and compesses faster than Divx. Besides, its hard to get alot of options out of programs to convrt to Divx.

    Hope this helps,

I would agree Nero Digital is one of the better ones. The only problem I have with it is it's not as compatible with players as Divx or Xvid.

What US sold Divx compatible players ARE compatible with Nero Digital? I think I just saw ND selling for $25 on line, which is a great price.
I have been into computers since 1980. Ive been tinkering with DV in one flavor or another since 1990.

Nero may have to build one themselves.

I own a player that support Nero Digital, www.avayon.com the DXP-1000, its like 70.00 from them and I have the official firmware update that makes it play Nero Digital. The head of the tech support sent me the file and nero has listed the player as certified, if you want to buy the player i'll email anyone who needs the firmware.
