I'm attempting to author a Hauppage 150MCE-encoded MPG file. Because of the bitrate I'd captured it at, it was too big. So, I demuxed it, rejigged the m2v to 3900, converted the mp2 to an ac3 file and imported both into Encore. The import goes fine and I'm able to add both to a timeline. I then go about adding chapter points to the timeline and before I can add more than 1 or 2, the CPU goes to 100% and pretty much prevents me from getting anything more done (requiring that I kill the Encore process)
Has anyone else had this issue with ReJigged m2v files?
(If I recall correctly, I'd always pretty much completed the authoring process in past before rejigging the m2v. Do you suppose that is the issue?)
