How to by-pass region hack on dvd-rom - SONY DDU1621

I realize that this might have been asked b4, but i cannot seem to find the topic nor the answer. Perhaps i cannot due to the time being 57 past midnight and i can't concentrate, but please bare with me. My player; in advanced properties has the region changer. I am allowed to change it 4 more times, but then it tells me, even if i reinstall my OS or move the DVD onto another computer i won't have the ability to change my regions after the 4th time. This really scarez me since i get a lot of international dvd's from my friends in my home country; And i enjoy watching a flick or two from the US/Canada region. This really bothers me, and if anyone could be so kind to please tell me what should i do!, is there a program that takes all my nightmares away? The DVD-ROM i am speaking of is [ SONY DDU1621 ]. I dont know if this would help but under the heading 'Other' click on tools and scroll down to svcds/dvd players and download the program dvd genie and while ya there get power dvd or windvd which works well with dvd genie. Dvd Genie allows you to modify the region code so what ever region you international dvds come from just click on the number corresponding to the region and away you go.
