  1. Hi, hopefully someone can give me some guidance. I have a 46" Toshiba 46HM94P. It's driving me up the wall.

Somehow, some setting has gotten changed, and I for the life of me can not figure out what is going on. here's my issue: I tune to an HD signal and recieve from my Digital Cable provider at 1080i. I have my "Picture Size" set to "natural". The problem is that it is not rendering the picture correctrly. Foir instance, i am watching FOX NFL football right now, and I can only see the bottom sliver of the scoreboard. Any graphics are cut off on the bottom.

When I change the setting to "Theater Wide 1" I lose the graphics alltogether. it's like the picture is too big for the screen. I can keep changing to Theater Wide 2 or 3, but either of those seems to "zoom" the picture even more. it's frustrating to be watching wide screen and to not see the picture.

I know it works correctly, because the pciture was fine just two days ago. the only thing that has changed that I can think of is that I watched a DVD the other day, but I don't see how that could affect anything since I didn't change any of the settings.

I've tried resetting the digital cable box, I've tried turning off everything and then starting by turnnign on the cable box, then the TV to see if could render the picture correctly. I also turned around and did the oppisite, to no avail. I can not seem to find any setting at all, (other then Picture Size) that corrects my problem.

I'm having people over for Sunday Night football and am desperately trying to get this fixed for tonight. Can anyone help??

I've come across a few similar posts in the past, I seem to recall that the problem was with the output from the cable box.
