Gday guys,
My Dad went on holidays recently and came back with all his DVD Camcorder footage on his laptop (he only had 1 Ram disk so he kept transferring onto the laptop). Anyways he has asked me to put all the footage onto DVDR for him. Whats the best way to go about getting these VRO files onto DVDR?
I have read some other threads here and accordingly renamed the VRO's to mpg. They seem to play fine though media player says they are only 6 secs long, they keep playing after the time bar has got to the end. So, when I go to author I cant put chapters in the video.. Does that make sense?
Thoughts?

Thanks Baldrick, I haven't tried tmpgenc dvd author as we have had a few disagreements over the years.. Does tmpgenc dvd author accept vro's "as is" without being renamed as mpg's? If so does that mean that the timecodes(I think thats the right word) will be intact and thus the videos should be able to be chaptered?

Or you can just put VRO in the search box on the top of this page, select 'all forums', you should find a lot to read.
