Tsunami Pro: will it let me sub main audio with music?

I have a wedding video which I want to dub certain boring sections with music. Is it possible with Tsunami Dvd author pro?

I read the box and it says:

So I thought it might be possible but wanted to verify before I made the purchase. Thanks

If you want to actually change the original soundtrack by replacing only parts of it with music then TDA isn't the software for you. To do that you will need an audio editor. Extract the audio from the original DVD (a process called demultiplexing, or demuxing) then load it into your audio editor (note: if the audio was AC3, you may have to convert it to wav first). Dub over the original dialogue and audio with music in the required places, then save the new sound track.

What you do now depends on what the source audio was. You may have to convert your new audio to AC3. You may be able to just mux the new audio straight back in.

If you are happy to create new menus, then just grab the video from the original, the new audio, and use TDA to create a new DVD. You could even keep the original audio as well, as you can have two audio tracks.

Well I believe tda also accepts .mp2 audio. I know it does from my mpeg recordings off of my wintv pvr 250 which uses mpeg audio instead of ac3.

Just fyi if the original poster doesn't have a ac3 encoder handy.

The conversion back to AC3 was more if he needed to mux it back into the original disk, rather than create a new one. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
